The lecture (as part of PO 2019 - https://www.uni-due.de/iw/de/studium/modulhandbuch19.php) provides a comprehensive introduction to all essential subjects and processes within a company. In compact lecture units, various decison problems are structured according to business functions in a company and dealt with from a management-oriented point of view. In addition to an overview of all sub-areas of business administration, the students gain an orientation for the choice of the specialisation in business administration in the third semester.

• understand that individual business decisions need to be coordinated with each other through business strategies.

1. Regular attendance of the lecture with independent preparation and follow-up work (The lecture was last offered in the winterterm 2024/25)

2. Participation in the exercises within the framework of the lecture with independent preparation and follow-up work

3. Solving exercises in the Moodle platform for self-study
