History Education is the science of historical learning. It is a subdiscipline of history and relies on its epistemological foundations. Research in History Education focus on three questions: What is (empirical approach), can (theoretical approach) and should (normative approach) be learned by studying history? The research projects in the department focus on these tasks with varying nuances.
