Workshop: “Time Use – Gender – Unpaid Work: Perspectives on Living Standards” December 9–10, 2025 | University of Duisburg-Essen, Campus Duisburg

Time use is a central element of living standards, social participation, and sustainable development. The workshop explores theoretical and methodological approaches to the role of unpaid work and gendered time distribution, with a focus on living standards and the socio-ecological transformation.

We welcome contributions from various disciplines and project stages. The workshop is open to doctoral researchers, postdocs, and all interested participants.

The deadline for abstract submissions (max. 400 words) has been extended to September 7, 2025.

Organized by the Institute for Socioeconomics (IfSO) and the Essen College of Gender Research (EKfG) at the University of Duisburg-Essen in cooperation with efas – Das Ökonominnen Netzwerk.
