Think and communicate strategically
As a staff unit of the rectorate, we support the work, decision-making and communication processes of the university management. We develop communication strategies and manage internal and external communication. We see ourselves as a consulting and service unit of the university around public relations and contribute to strengthening the visibility and reputation of the UDE.

The UDE is a young, innovative university that ranks among the ten largest universities in Germany. Since its founding in 2003, it has developed into a globally recognized research university where diversity and educational equity are lived.
Our central task is to communicate the strategic goals, the achievements and the self-image of the UDE and to make them even more visible for our partners in science, society and politics.
Publications
The UDE regularly publishes various publications such as the annual report, the university magazine Campus:Report, the newsletters Campus:Aktuell and UDE:intern as well as image media and information brochures.
