To kick off the Essener Wissenschaftssommer, the Wissenschaftsabend, on 18 June will focus on the topic "Future Skills – Human Competences in the Context of Change and New Technologies". Two UDE researchers will also share their perspectives on this topic.

To mark the end of the current semester, the University Orchestra presents three very different works as part of its summer programme, ‘Narrated Music: Landscape, Voice, Monument’, each of which aims to bring images, moods and stories to life through sound in its unique way.

International exchange continues: 9 students from the USA are currently visiting universities in the Ruhr University Alliance as Ruhr Fellows. 3 of them are undertaking research placements at the UDE.
