With its first publication for the year 2018, the "Life Beyond Vision" calendar of the IMCES, published by the Medical Faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen, is now a firmly planned annual event for us. This project was initiated to make people aware of our work beyond our circle of users and at best even beyond the borders of the UDE and UKE. From the very beginning, it was important to us that our users make an elementary contribution to this by providing the central elements of the calendar, the actual motifs. The calendar is intended to present the exciting research world of the University of Duisburg-Essen in an aesthetic way.
