CampusFM is the university radio station of the University of Duisburg-Essen and is carried by the supporting association CampusFM e.V. It is aimed in particular at students in both cities, but also at the entire western Ruhr region.

Active for more than 50 years: the UniOrchestra plays the UDE's festive concerts in the winter semester and also offers a broad programme in the summer. It is one of the largest and most renowned university orchestras in Germany. It has been rehearsing in the university's former Audimax on Segerothstraße in Essen since 2000.
