New publication by Sylvia Walby and Karen Shire

Anneliese Maier Research Awardee Sylvia Walby OBE, and EKfG Scientific Director Karen Shire guest edit a Special Section on Varieties of Gender Regimes in
Social Politics: International Studies in Gender, State & Society, Volume 27, Issue 3, Fall 2020.  The leading feminist journal publishes original and cutting edge scholarship on gendered politics and policies in a global context to stimulate and reflect interdisciplinary conversations, intersectional analyses and international approaches.

The authors will discuss their contributions in a Webinar scheduled for September 24, 2020, 15.00.

The papers in this special section were initially prepared for the Workshop Varieties of Gender Regimes held on June 7, 2019 in London, co-organized by the Violence and Society Centre, City, University of London and the Essen College for Gender Research, University Duisburg-Essen. The workshop was supported by the Anneliese Maier Research Award of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to Sylvia Walby, and the Violence and Society Centre, City, University of London.
