Each month, our early-career researchers present and discuss recent publications from the field of cardiovascular and immunological research. These journal clubs provide a platform to broaden the scientific horizons and to develop skills in critical discussing and evaluation.

Each semester every PhD candidate will give one presentation in this seminar, showing her or his recent results and critically discussing her or his findings with the peers and the PIs. At each seminar at least one basic scientist and one clinician from the group of the PIs will be present. Seminars will take place on the campus of the University Hospital Essen.
