Benefits for members of the University of Duisburg-Essen
- The contract with ACM entitles authors (corresponding authors) of the UDE to publish free of charge in selected ACM journals and Conference Proceedings under an Open Access licence
- The contract covers both hybrid journals and genuine Open Access publications
- The author fees (APCs) of submitting corresponding authors of the UDE are paid and financed centrally by the UDE. Invoices are processed by the University Library
Requirements
- You are a member of the UDE and responsible for submitting the article as corresponding author
- UDE students can apply for article funding if a member of the supervising faculty supports or approves the publication of the paper. In these cases, funding is only granted upon application and is decided on a case-by-case basis
- The University of Duisburg-Essen or the University Hospital must be specified as the first affiliation
- Eligible article types:
- e.g. Research Articles, Review Articles and Conference and Proceedings Papers. You may find an overview of the authorized article types here.
