Benefits for members of the University of Duisburg-Essen

• The membership entitles authors (corresponding authors) of the UDE to publish open access in the journals of JMIR  at no additional cost
• The author fees (APCs) of submitting corresponding authors of the UDE are paid and financed centrally by the UDE. Invoices are processed by the University Library

Requirements

• You are a member of the UDE and responsible for submitting the article as corresponding author
• UDE students can apply for article funding if a member of the supervising faculty supports or approves the publication of the paper. In these cases, funding is only granted upon application and is decided on a case-by-case basis
• The University of Duisburg-Essen or the University Hospital must be specified as the first affiliation
