FACSymphony A1
LMUFlow Cytometer
The BD FACSymphony A1 is a flow cytometry analyzer. Compared to the somewhat similar BD FACS Aria III, the FACSymphony A1 is easier and more robust to use, but lacks sorting capabilities.
The FACSymphony A1 is also equipped with a High Throughput Sampler module which uses multi-well plates as sample carriers, instead of the conventional 5 ml tubes. We recommend the use of 96-well round bottom dishes.

Available Channels
Besides a number of fluorescence channels, the system is equipped with standard forward and side scatter detectors, as well as a bespoke small-particle side scatter detector (all using the 488 nm laser line).
