Vera Huwe
Meine Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind sozial-ökologische Verkehrspolitik, intersektionale Perspektiven auf Ungleichheit sowie Philosophie der VWL. Mein Studium der Volkswirtschaftslehre absolvierte ich mit Schwerpunkt mikroökonometrische Methoden an den Universitäten Mannheim und Bonn. Auslandsaufenthalte führten mich an die Universitäten Nottingham und Ottawa und als ASA-Stipendiatin nach Kigali. Vor meiner Promotion am Institut für Sozioökonomie arbeitete ich als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am ZEW—Leibniz–Institut für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung (Abteilung Umwelt- und Ressourcenökonomik, Umweltmanagement).
My research focuses on socio-ecological transport policy, intersectional inequality, and the philosophy of economics. I hold a B.Sc. (University of Mannheim, 2014) and a M.Sc. (University of Bonn, 2017) in Economics and was an exchange student at the University of Nottingham (UK) and the University of Ottawa (Canada). From October 2018 to July 2020, I was a researcher at the ZEW—Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research.
