Junior Faculty | Funding and research stays abroad
Financial support for your research project
Research projects not only require time and commitment, but also monetary resources. Scholarships and funding programmes provide financial support and often offer additional idealistic support. At the same time, they are a visible recognition of your outstanding research achievements.
We have compiled information for you on this website on funding programmes for the Junior Faculty with links to common databases for more in-depth research on your own.
Financial support at the UDE
Are you doing research at the UDE and striving for an academic career? Would you like to realize your own research project but still need time and resources to prepare your grant proposal? The UDE-internal programme for the promotion of excellent early career researchers supports postdoctoral researchers with initial funding of up to 30,000 euros in this phase of their career. Applications are possible twice a year.
The so-called "Feuerwehrtopf" provides financial aid for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers who need short-term childcare due to a sudden emergency situation.
