Working Group of Empirical Political Science

Teresa Hummler is a research assistant in the project ‘Social openness, social control, and the integration of Muslim immigrants – A panel study in neighbourhoods of selected German cities’ at the Department of Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen (principal investigator Dr. Conrad Ziller). She completed her Bachelor's degree in European Studies Major with a focus on Political Science, Hispanic Studies and Business Administration at the University of Passau, the Universidad Católica de Santiago del Estero (Argentina) and the Universidad de Málaga (Spain). She received her Master’s degree in Democracy and Governance in Europe from the University of Tübingen. Her main research interests include immigrant integration, migration and integration policy as well as European integration.
