18.-20.05.2026, Nijmegen, Niederlande: Radboud University – International Staff Training Week

Reimagining the global university: internationalization unboxed

How can universities create global learning opportunities that go beyond traditional semester exchanges? During this International Staff Training Week, we will explore a broader, more inclusive approach to engaging with the world. Together, we will discuss diverse forms of international and intercultural learning — from virtual collaboration and internationalized curricula to locally rooted global experiences and inclusive support practices.

Through interactive sessions and shared insights, we will rethink familiar models, challenge assumptions and envision a global university that offers meaningful and responsible opportunities for every student and staff member, both at home and abroad.

Who is the staff training week for?

  • Members of International Offices or Erasmus/Exchange Coordinators
  • Policy Officers on internationalisation
  • International Wellbeing Officers
  • Intercultural Trainers
  • Other colleagues working in the field of internationalisation

Please note: All sessions will be in English, so minimum CEFR B2 level in English is required.

Registration is free of charge and includes:

  • Activities and workshops, including materials
  • Coffee, tea and water during the day x3
  • Lunch at Radboud University x3
  • Group dinner x1

04.-08.05.2026, Lissabon, Portugal: Universidade de Lisboa - International Staff Week 2026 

The ISW programme is designed to address key strategic and operational challenges in the internationalisation of higher education institutions.

Topics will include, among others, institutional international strategies, mobility and cooperation programmes, European and international project development, communication and dissemination practices, partnership and consortium management, sustainability of international initiatives, and capacity-building within international offices. The programme will combine thematic sessions, interactive workshops, networking moments, and cultural and social activities, offering participants an engaging and comprehensive experience in Lisbon.

Staff members will be warmly welcome to actively participate in the activities, benefiting from professional development, peer exchange and networking opportunities.

01.-05.06.2026, Budapest, Ungarn: ELTE Intercultural Staff Training 2026, Eötvös Loránd University

We are pleased to inform you that the call for applications for the upcoming ELTE Intercultural Staff Training 2026, organized by ELTE Department of Erasmus+ and International Programmes and the Institute of Intercultural Psychology and Education (IIPE), Faculty of Education and Psychology IS NOW OPEN. The event is organised in the framework of the EUF Erasmus+ Crossroads initiative.

The training will be held from 1 to 5 June 2026 and targeted at 

  • central, faculty or departmental international coordinators or
  • other staff members of higher education institutions (HEIs) who work with international students and staff on a day-to-day basis (e.g. student administration office or dormitory personnel)

who have at least one year of work experience in this area. Participation is preferably limited to one person per (partner) institution, but no more than two persons per institution.

The training program aims to promote intercultural skills and competencies especially for those who engage in intercultural encounters in their everyday work and feel that they need to further develop their skills to be more successful.

Those who participate in the whole training receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end. Participants will also receive a digital certificate about the obtained learning outcomes.

The participation fee is 300 EUR+ VATFor CHARM-EU and EUF network university partners the discounted fee is 250 EUR + VAT. The fee includes the complimentary lunch of the first day, welcome package, work materials, cultural programs, coffee breaks and farewell dinner.

The application deadline is 15 March 2026.
