The training days will focus on the internationalization challenges of the Erasmus Programme, from an overview of current uses and practices to discussions on future opportunities. The event represents a unique opportunity to learn and network with colleagues from across the globe.

The number of participants is limited to 20 colleagues, and staff of ECIU universities have selection priority.

Join the Staff Training WeekThe International Outlook of Universities: a cross-cutting approach from 10 to 14 November 2025 hosted by the University of Bologna!

In an increasingly cross-cutting international orientation, Higher Education Institutions need a transversal approach. This trend, however, is marked by operational and institutional challenges. Is it possible to create a common vision of international relations at our Higher Education Institutions? What are the tools and organisational models that make it possible to overcome hurdles and coordinate global actions?
Through workshops, interactive discussions, networking opportunities and cultural visits, the week will provide a valuable chance to meet with colleagues from different European universities, share good practices, and work together on an integrated strategy of international relations.

Digital Escape Rooms in Education

This hands-on course will guide you through the entire process of designing and implementing engaging escape room experiences to motivate students, foster collaboration, and improve learning outcomes across different educational levels.

Throughout the week, you'll discover how emerging technologies, such as Augmented and Immersive Virtual Reality, can bring escape rooms to the next level and learn how to incorporate AI into your escape room designs. From initial planning to puzzle creation, testing, and presentation, this course will provide you with the tools to create interactive and dynamic learning environments. The week will culminate in participants showcasing their own digital escape room projects, followed by constructive feedback and reflection.

Alongside professional workshops, enjoy immersive cultural experiences as you discover Budapest through custom-designed digital escape rooms, exploring both the historic Pest and Buda districts.

08.-12.12.2025, Thessaloniki, Griechenland: 14th Erasmus Staff Training Week, Aristoteles University Thessaloniki

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki cordially invites you to its 14th Erasmus Staff Training Week which will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece from the 8th till the 12th of December 2025, dedicated to exploring and enhancing Higher Education Partnerships.
In an increasingly interconnected global landscape, robust and strategic partnerships are crucial for the internationalization and development of our institutions. This week will provide a platform for colleagues from higher education institutions to exchange knowledge, discuss challenges, share good practices and collectively envision the future of collaborative endeavors within and beyond the Erasmus+ framework.

14th ESTW will be also organized as an Erasmus+ BIP for staff members. Therefore, no fees will apply and all mobilities could be refunded by the Erasmus+ programme.

LANGUAGE: English

TARGET GROUP: Academic and administrative staff members from higher education institutions involved in the management and development of international partnerships. A limit of two representatives from the same institution shall apply.
