Tailored protection for individualsRisk-based vaccinations

If a risk assessment shows that certain activities involve a risk of infection that could be mitigated by a vaccine, UDE offers the relevant vaccinations to staff. As a rule, getting vaccinated is voluntary. However, it is the line managers’ responsibility to only have vaccinated staff carry out any activities involving a risk of infection.

In addition, UDE offers flu vaccinations every year, in particular for staff with frequent visitor contact.

Staying healthy during the cold seasonFlu vaccination

Flu vaccinations are offered again this year. The offer primarily addresses staff who are frequently in contact with numerous other people as part of their work. As influenza viruses are constantly changing, the vaccine must be continuously adapted. A trivalent vaccine is used for this year’s vaccinations. The vaccine is generally well tolerated and in line with WHO recommendations for this flu season.

You can book your appointment for a flu vaccination online. Please be aware that other types of appointments with the University Hospital are also managed using this registration link. Therefore, we would like to request that you stick to the appointment slots specified above. Otherwise, you risk being turned away.

Information about requesting an appointment by phone:
In order to select an option at the end of the announcement using the keypad on your phone - '1' for booking an appointment or '2' for consultation - the ‘MFV senden’ (DTMF signalling) feature must be enabled. It will be displayed as the function of the key on the bottom right during your call. If the feature is not enabled, the hospital’s telephone system will not be able to receive your selection and will end the call. You will then hear the busy signal.
