How do foreign students feel when they have to settle into a new environment and culture? How do they perceive this acculturative stress? A study at the Chair of Developmental Psychology and Clinical Psychology of the Lifespan at the University of Siegen is investigating this. Participants are being sought for an online survey.

The study investigates the effects of acculturative stress on the mental health of international students and how personal and social resources help them to cope with this stress. Anyone can take part, who is enrolled as an international student at a German university (for at least one year), intending to get a Bachelor, Master or PhD degree, and aged 18-50. It will take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete the survey.
