Alumni Faculty of Engineering
Classic alumni associations are networks of graduates who want to keep in touch with their old university after graduation. However, we as engineering alumni see ourselves as a network of both students and graduates and staff of the faculty as well as of all those interested in the activities of engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
Graduation ceremony in winter semester 2026/27
The Duisburg Engineering graduation ceremony has been held twice a year since 2002. At this event, our best graduates are honoured, the Best Teacher Awards are presented by the student bodies and other prizes are awarded.
The highlight, however, is the presentation of the certificates to the Bachelor's and Master's graduates and the newly graduated scientists by the Dean of the Faculty. This is the University's way of honouring the completion of this important stage in their lives.
Please note: one week earlier than usual! |
