Introductory Courses

MINT-Starter is a phase of preliminary studies, which prepares you in an optimal way for the study of the so called MINT-study courses (Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Science, and Engineering). Empirically the transition from school to university is a great challenge for students of MINT-courses. Reasons are the high degree of abstraction and mathematics of these study courses, as well as the fact that the specialized thought pattern are clearly different from those that one knows from school. With MINT-Starter we want to prepare you for your studies and offer you the best possible introduction for your first academic year. For that purpose we always offer a widespread course catalogue in August/September, which shall lighten your access to a MINT-study course and prepare for the struggles which are associated with those studies.
