Degree Programs for Students Pursuing a Full Degree at UDE

German-taught degree programs
- Our German-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s programs provide a solid education in traditional engineering disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. In addition, interdisciplinary programs like Medical Engineering, NanoEngineering, and Industrial Engineering combine technical expertise with economic or scientific skills.
- Many of our degree programs include practical components such as project work, industry collaborations, or optional study abroad opportunities - offering ideal preparation for the international job market.

International Studies in Engineering
- Our internationally oriented study program "International Studies in Engineering" (ISE) offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in traditional engineering disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, and Civil Engineering, as well as a wide range of interdisciplinary programs.
- The international components include a largely uniform first year of study, with courses taught entirely in English. In the later semesters, the proportion of German-taught courses increases, resulting in an overall curriculum taught approximately 50% in English and 50% in German.

Double Degree with partner universities
- We offer double degree programs in cooperation with renowned partner universities across Europe and around the world.
- Through these programs, our incoming exchange students have the unique opportunity to earn two degrees simultaneously: one from UDE and one from the respective partner university.
