LuDi (Working Spaces) in Engineering
Space for Learning, Time for Questions
To improve the study conditions, the Faculty of Engineering offers from winter semester 2012/13 departmental learning and discussion centers ( LuDi ). In new learning spaces that are supervised by a professional coordinator and several tutors, space is offered for joint learning and helping with problems. Students also receive help with homework, have the opportunity to discuss specific issues outside of the lectures and to prepare for the exam phases.
The LuDi aims primarily at students of the first two semesters, but also from students of higher semesters they can be used as learning spaces.
The times at which the LuDi are accessible are built into the semester schedule and vary in order to allow as many students to use the LuDi.
The four departments of the Faculty of Engineering set up each their own LuDi, which are supervised by a professional coordinator and several tutors.
