Tests increase safety
Test centre launched on Duisburg campus

In order to increase safety on campus, employees and students are to prove that they have taken a corona self-test or a corona quick test by trained personnel before participating in teaching and other events that may take place in presence according to the current legal situation.
The UDE provides employees and students with self-tests for this purpose. At the same time, they are encouraged to make use of the offer of free testing in a citizen test centre.
This has been possible at the Essen campus since the end of April in building S06. Now (6 May 2021), the test centre in the Gerhard-Mercator-Haus on the Duisburg campus will also go into operation.
