My account - Sign in

How to log in to your library account

You can sign in to your account via our Primo catalogue. 

Click on the "Sign in" link in the top right navigation bar.

UDE students:
You log in via Shibboleth with your university ID and the corresponding password.

UDE staff members:

  • Your university ID is already linked to your library account:
    You log in via Shibboleth with your university ID and the corresponding password. It is not possible to log in with the number of your library card.
     
  • Your university ID is not yet linked to the library account:
    You can only log in to Primo with the number of your library card and a newly assigned password. This password was sent to you by email for the system change.
    If you would like to have your university ID entered in your library account, please contact the lending desk.

External Users:
You log in with the number of your library card and a newly assigned password. This password was sent to you by email for the system change.

Good to know Keep track of your return dates!

Import the due dates of your borrowed media into your calendar system as an iCal calendar.

My account - overview

  • Loans: list of items you borrowed in our branch libraries
  • Requests: list of reservations and open orders
  • Fine & fees: overview of charges due for payment
  • Blocks & messages: possible messages for you from the library
  • Personal details:
    • your current address
    • your e-mail address
    • By choosing "edit details" you can alter your e-mail address
    • Update PIN and password: Here you can change your PIN and your password (Please note: not for the university ID!)
    • Default interface language: here you can switch between German and English

Please remember to sign out
at the end of your session!

Click on your name again and select the "sign out" button.
