PC workstations - Login for guests

You can use the electronic holdings of the University Library without registration. This includes:

  •     catalogues,
  •     databases,
  •     electronic journals,
  •     e-books.

In order to call up external sources, you require an authentification. You can do this by entering your user number or, alternatively, your university identification (= "Unikennung") provided by the CIM and your password.

Terms of use for the library PC network

PC workstations - Login for students and employees

For the login, you need your university identification (= Unikennung) and password. You have access to your private files stored in the area of the Home Directory share. In addition, you can use an extended range of software, for example Office packages, image editing and the literature management program Citavi are available.

Museum Folkwang in Essen

In addition, the Museum Folkwang in Essen offers 38 study places and a reading lounge in the reading room of the library.

The reading room is available Tuesdays to Sundays from 10:00am to 06:00pm.
