Renewal of loan period
How many times can I renew a loan period?
The loan periods of borrowed media can be extended up to one year (except: interlibrary loans).
Renewals are not possible in case someone else has placed a reservation. The loan period can also be extended if it has already been exceeded.
How can I renew a loan period?
Start the Primo catalogue.
Click on "Sign in" in the upper tool bar:
Click on "My Account" to check on your library account:
Next, click on "My Loans" to get a list of your borrowed media:
To renew the loan period of all items at once, click on "RENEW ALL".
Alternatively, you can extend the loan period for individual media via the link "RENEW".
The new dates are displayed in your account.
Please click on the browser button "Reload" or call up your account again to check on the current due dates.
You can not renew the loan period if you have reached the limit of one year or the media have been reserved by other users.
The renewal is at your own risk.
Between 0:00am and approximately 1:30am, your account is not available for renewals due to backup operations.

Alternatively you can apply for renewal by letter, fax or e-mail or personally at the lending desk in all branch libraries:
