A protein in our body uses an old needlework trick – that's what molecular biologists have discovered. By connecting amino acids that are only a few nanometers in size, the researchers were able to understand the process at the molecular level.

New sensor detects low air humidityIt doesn't get more accurate than this!

A physics team from the UDE has developed ultra-thin and very sensitive sensors together with Russian colleagues. These can detect such small concentrations of water vapor as was previously impossible. The detectors are based on highly conductive materials known as MXenes.
